The terms of the deal.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and CueCard (“CueCard”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a digital keepsake service operated by an independent individual based in Italy, available at cuecard.live (the “Service”).

By accessing the Service, purchasing, or creating a capsule, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service or make a purchase. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

CueCard is a digital product. For a one-time payment, it turns the era name, tracks, memories, and photo you provide into a two-card digital capsule — a tracklist card and an AI-written liner-notes card — that you can download and keep. There is no account and no subscription.

Prices are shown at checkout in your selected currency. Any applicable taxes are handled at checkout. Payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe; your order is complete once payment is confirmed.

A single purchase unlocks one capsule (or two, if you buy the two-pack). Each capsule is locked to the inputs you generate it with and includes a limited number of generations (an initial generation plus a set number of re-rolls, as shown in the app). Once those are used, creating a further capsule requires a new purchase.

Your capsule is digital content supplied without a tangible medium and delivered immediately once you generate it.

If you are a consumer in the EU (or in a country with equivalent rules), you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. However, by choosing to generate your cards you expressly request that we begin supplying the digital content immediately, and you acknowledge that you therefore lose your right of withdrawal once generation begins. Before you generate, you have not yet received the digital content, and you may request cancellation of an unused purchase.

Because a capsule is digital content delivered immediately, purchases are non-refundable once you have generated your cards, as set out in section 5.

If something genuinely went wrong — you paid but could not generate, you were charged more than once, or you hit a real defect in the Service — contact hello@cuecard.live and we will put it right, including issuing a refund where appropriate. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

Any purchase can be gifted using its gift link. A gift link works like a gift card: whoever holds it can redeem the capsule, and redeeming it consumes that capsule. We cannot recover or restore a capsule that has been used by someone you shared the link with, so share it carefully.

You keep all rights to the words and photo you provide and to the finished cards you create. You are responsible for what you upload, and you confirm that you have the right to use it.

You grant us the limited licence needed to process your inputs, generate your capsule, and deliver it to you. If you separately choose to publish a card to our public library, you additionally grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and share that card publicly and in our marketing, until you ask us to remove it.

You agree not to use the Service to create or upload content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or that violates anyone’s rights or privacy. You also agree not to misuse promotions, and not to scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or otherwise interfere with the Service or attempt to circumvent its payment or usage limits.

Your liner notes are produced by an automated writing system from the inputs you provide. Automated writing can be imperfect and may occasionally misread tone or introduce an inaccurate detail. The re-roll allowance exists so you can regenerate if the first result misses. We do not warrant any particular style, accuracy, or emotional register of the generated text.

The CueCard name, branding, card designs, template layouts, site, and underlying software are and remain our property or that of our licensors. These Terms grant you no rights in them beyond using the Service as intended.

Promotional codes (such as free-capsule launch offers) are limited in number, generally intended as one per person, and may carry conditions shown at the time of redemption (for example, being invited to leave a review). We may modify or end any promotion at any time. Abuse — including automated redemption, reselling codes, or creating multiple redemptions — may result in redemptions being voided.

We work to keep the Service available and functioning, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the purchase the claim concerns. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

You agree to be responsible for the content you provide and, to the extent permitted by law, to hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you upload or publish in breach of these Terms.

We may update the Service and these Terms as the product develops. Material changes to these Terms will be posted here with a new effective date, and your continued use of the Service after they take effect means you accept them. Changes do not apply retroactively to a purchase already completed.

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Italy. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the mandatory protections available to you under the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Otherwise, the courts of Italy have jurisdiction.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another party; your rights will not be affected.
